Due to its large, heavy size, these cold fogging machines can be loaded onto vehicles and used outdoors for controlling pests, mosquitoes, and desert locusts, as well as for plant protection measures in plantations for an efficient, economical, and target-orientated ULV application. With three different application modes to choose from (ULV, ULV-Plus, LV), this fogger is ideal for mosquito and pest control over extensive areas, the application of larvicides, desert locust control, disinfection and deodorization of garbage dumps, sewage treatment, plant protection measures in large, tropical plantations, and much more.

All Swingtec Fontan Cold Fogging Aerosol Generators are equipped with oil-free and maintenance-free low-pressure compressors. The compressors produce a high-velocity air stream, which is further accelerated in the swirl vane of the nozzle system. The fog liquid is processed into fine aerosol droplets, where optimal distribution and coverage is obtained, providing high efficacy and depth of penetration. The modern technology of the fogging devices and the economical use of preparations (without drip loss) meet both economic and ecological objectives. All metal parts that come into contact with the fog liquid are made of stainless steel.

Equipped with a Briggs & Stratton, Vanguard V-TWIN OHV 16 HP gasoline engine for longevity in the field, the portable Swingtec Fontan Mobilstar M is characterised by its ease-of-use and ultimate usage safety. Its 18.2 US Gallon (69 L) stainless steel active ingredient tank comes with a tank emptying device for automatic cleaning of the feed lines and spraying heads. The material inside the sprayer tank is conveyed by overpressure of 5 psi (0.35 bar) in the active ingredient tank. The active ingredient line is connected to the active ingredient tank by a quick coupling. The flow rate is set manually using the flow meter. Delivery of the spraying mixture is achieved by a positive pressure in the spraying tank. The output quantity is calibrated manually.

The spraying device utilized on this mobile fogging device is a low-pressure system with two horizontally and vertically adjustable spray heads made of corrosion-resistant material. Droplet processing by swirl vane and high-velocity air flow. Equipped with fixed nozzles with a defined spray output and can be operated using the ULV, ULV-plus, and LV spraying methods. Other transportable ULV devices / machines are generally equipped with manually adjustable flow meters. In those cases, the selected spray output can be inadvertently or purposely changed, which can lead to improper use. The fixed nozzles on the Swingtec Fontan Mobilstar M exclude such manipulations and ensure a proper application.

Control Unit / Remote Control Feature: Motor start and rotary switch for spraying, stopping, and rinsing. The spraying and rinsing functions, the ULV and LV spraying modes, and the warning of empty fog liquid tank are indicated by LEDs. The hour meter records the duration of use.
