Powered by a 1.1 kW, single phase AC electric motor (220-240V / 50 Hz, or 110-130V / 60 Hz, or 220-240V / 60 Hz), this portable ULV cold fogging aerosol device is the perfect fogger to treat interiors. It is more than capable of being used for general pest control, plant protection measures in greenhouses, stock protection (warehouses, silos, production plants for food, agricultural products, textiles and tobacco), disinfection measures in the food industry and in livestock farming, disinfection in hospitals and public areas, and much more.

These Swingtec Compactstar Electrically-Driven Cold Foggers are semi-automatic foggers that start manually and stop automatically when the fog inside the liquid tank is empty or after the preselected amount of fog liquid has been discharged. The solution line and the nozzle system are rinsed manually from the rinsing bottle. This electric ULV cold fogger utilizes a blower and stator system, where the stator directs the airflow without turbulence, and guarantees droplet transportation up to a distance of 60 m. The power of the blower and the design of the stator provide a uniform coverage, even for large areas and rooms. The stator in the ventilator tube developed in a wind tunnel by Swingtec allows the treatment of large surfaces/rooms from one position, without moving the device. With the stator, a uniform horizontal and vertical droplet distribution over an area of approximately 60 m x 40 m is achieved. The low-pressure system of 5 psi (0.35 bar) permits the use of nozzles with relatively large diameters, which means that also suspended powder preparations can be easily discharged. All Swingtec Fontan Cold Fogging Aerosol Generators are equipped with oil-free and maintenance-free low-pressure compressors. The compressors produce a high-velocity air stream, which is further accelerated in the swirl vane of the nozzle system. The fog liquid is processed into fine aerosol droplets, where optimal distribution and coverage is obtained, providing high efficacy and depth of penetration. The low pressure method makes it possible to use spraying nozzles that have relatively large bores, so that even wettable powder spraying mixtures can be applied without any problems. Using the advanced design of the blower/stator system, the aerosol droplets are distributed up to a distance of 197' (60 m) per blower. Distribution is performed uniformly through horizontal and vertical air circulation.
