Silky Hayauchi Pole Saw
The Silky Hayauchi Pole Saw - no longer available has aluminum alloy extension poles that are oval shaped. This provides precise control over the direction of the blade especially when you are cutting high branches. This also gives strength and rigidity to the pole, thus reducing pole bending to the minimum. The Silky Hayauchi Pole Saw's base pole has a pole-end shock absorber and comfortable rubberized overgrip which ensures a good grip on the pole.
The 15 2/5" curved blade utilizes Silky's proprietary 4-RETSUME (Four Rows of Teeth) technology. The teeth are set in such a way that there appears to be four rows of them. This is ideal for the toughest pruning jobs! The Hayauchi Blade can be adjusted to two different angles for lower or higher cutting and features an upper and lower sickle.
The upper sickle is used to cut vines and the lower sickle to undercut bark. The lower sickle provides a clean cut without damaging tree, while upper sickle prevents blade from slipping off limb.
The Silky Hayauchi Pole Saw has two locking systems that are incorporated into the pole. This assures its structural rigidity. The first locking mechanism is made up of pins/buttons. The second is friction clamps. This dual locking system allows 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade up to 21 ' away.
The Silky Hayauchi Pole Saw's spring-loaded locking buttons allow for multiple length adjustments and its safety friction clamps hold the extensions firmly in place.
