Capable of providing consistent performance all season long, this Shurflo 8000-853-238 Automatic Demand Diaphragm Pump can be relied upon to handle a wide variety of industrial fluid transfer and agricultural spraying tasks with ease.

This 8000 series diaphragm pump is one of Shurflo's most widely used industrial and agricultural pump. It is made with chemically-resistant materials, including Viton valves and a Santoprene diaphragm, to enable use with a range of industrial and agricultural chemicals. Some of these include herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, fungicides, and other hard-to-handle fluids. Ideal for agricultural spraying, spot spraying, chemical fluid transfer, as well as industrial fluid handling in construction, laboratories, and more.

Equipped with a 24V DC electric motor for smooth performance and even coverage in your agricultural spraying or industrial fluid transfer application.

Demand Pumps have a built-in pressure switch that automatically stops and starts the pump at specific pressure settings. When a faucet or valve opens, line pressure decreases causing the demand switch to automatically start the pump. When the valve shuts, line pressure increases causing the demand switch to automatically turn off the pump. The demand switch activates in response to the pump's outlet pressure at a predetermined and preset pressure.
