It comes equipped with all the vital components that firefighters, forest services, parks departments, woodlot owners, and professional landscaping companies will need to help extinguish and suppress potentially damaging fires.
With a tank capacity of 120 US gallons (100 imperial gallons / 450 Litres), this firefighting sprayer unit can be used mainly for fire suppression and helping extinguish fires during the wildfire season. The large tank allows you to store larger amounts of water compared to smaller backpack models that are more ideal to manage smaller brush fires.
The low profile design of the tank provides just the right amount of visibility for it to be mounted in the back of UTVs, small pickup trucks, and trailers. The tank itself is designed with polyethylene material for UV resistance to withstand constant use outdoors all season long.
The pumping system is a 12-Volt Delavan 7871-101E FatBoy 3 Diaphragm Pump that features a 60 psi pressure demand switch. The demand switch eliminates the need for a pressure regulator and is used in situations where a set flow and pressure is required (eg. spray wands on spot sprayers). Max. 7 gpm flow. Max. 60 psi pressure. Max. 25 amps. Viton valves for chemical resistance.
