Overview

Replacement Honda engines for concrete trowel machines. Honda GX160QH or GX35NT-S3.

Product Description

These 4 stroke Honda engines require no fuel and oil mixing, they take unleaded 86 octane or higher fuel. Efficient 4 stroke technology offers superior fuel economy and requires no mixing of oil in the engine's fuel supply, therefore reducing both oil consumption and the emission of unburned oil in the exhaust. This results in better environmental performance and operating costs.

360° any side up operation makes this lightweight engine ideal for concrete trowel machines, string trimmers, brush cutters, backpack blowers, mini-tillers, cultivators, generators, water pumps and more. The Honda GX35NT-S3 has a milder operating noise than other 4 stroke engines and its belt-driven OHC design further reduces unpleasant mechanical noise. Its lighter piston and other moving parts help keep vibration down reducing work fatigue.

  • Fuel tank points up on the GX35NT-S3
  • Air-cooled 4 stroke OHC.
  • 39mm bore x 30mm stroke.
  • Displacement: 35.8 cm3
  • Net Power Output: 1.3 hp @ 7000 rpm
  • Net Torque: 1.2 lb-ft @ 5500 rpm
  • Recoil Starter.
  • Open Face Clutch.
  • 8" long x 9.2" wide x 9.4" high
  • 7.6 lb dry weight.

A new exhaust decompression system and precise 4-Stroke intake and exhaust control help to ensure considerably easier recoil starting even after long storage.

An efficient new port configuration and large diameter valves help to increase the power output of the OHC configuration for robust performance. A lighter more rigid valve train helps extend the engines superior 4 stroke performance throughout its entire speed range while a new carburetor equipped with an accelerator pump allows consistently fast and easy acceleration.
