Keep ice and snow from building up on your roof, in your gutter, or in your downspout with this Pirit Roof Gutter De-Icing Cable (# 14101).

Operating at 120-volts and 5 watts per foot, this 100' pre-assembled de-icing cable creates drainage channels on a roof, in a gutter, or in a downspout to allow the melted ice and snow to flow freely off the roof and through the gutters and downspouts. It can be used on pitched roofs with non-combustible tab shingles, as well as in metal, plastic, and vinyl gutters and downspouts. Do not use on flat roofs and do not use for clearing snow and ice.

NOTE: This gutter cable should be installed in above 50° F (10° C) temperatures because at lower temperatures the shingle material may be brittle. Make sure to clear all leaves and debris from the roof, gutters, and downspouts before using the cable. Do not plug the cable in unless it has been completely uncoiled or it will be damaged.
