Product Description
Create an aesthetically pleasing landscape with the Duckbill Root Ball System. Quick and easy installation, prevents unwanted movement, an environmentally sensitive solution and no unsightly poles or stakes.
Especially functional for sidewalk plantings, playgrounds and parks where guide wire systems are not possible or desired. It is specifically designed to hold the tree's root ball firmly in place, with only the tree protruding above the ground.
Three sizes from which to choose:
- Root Ball Anchor Kit - Small (40-RBK)
- Root Ball Anchor Kit - Medium (68-RBK)
- Root Ball Anchor Kit - Large (88-RBK)
40 RBK Kit works on small diameter trees up to 2" ( 50 mm). This kit contains 3 model 40-DB1's with D-rings, yellow tensioning strap 6.5 '(1.98 m) with an easy hand ratchet and complete installation instructions.
68 RBK Kit works on trees up to 3" ( 75 mm) in diameter trees. This kit contains 3 model 68 Duckbill Anchors with D ring, blue tensioning strap 20'. (6.09 m) with easy hand ratchet and complete installation instructions. 1,100 lbs ( 500 kg) rated capacity per anchor.
88 RBK Kit works on trees up to 6" (150 mm) diameter trees. This kit contains 3 model 88 Duckbill Anchors, 21' (6.4 m) of 3/16" (4.8 mm) of red tensioning cable, one ratchet tensioner, and complete installation instructions. 3,000 lbs (1,360 kg) rated capacity per anchor.
