The handle and counter-blade are made of hot-forged light aluminum alloy to help protect against breakage, while its surface anodizing treatment makes them more resistant over time. The hot-forged steel blade is made with high percentage carbon for longevity. The cavity in the blade reduces friction and increases branch penetration resulting in minimal cutting effort.
