Adapter for Female Garden Hose Thread To Male National Pipe Thread- Brass

This Brass Adapter converts your 3/4" female garden hose thread to 1/2" or 3/4" male national pipe thread. You can use it on standard outdoor spigots or on the end of garden hoses to switch from garden hose thread (GHT) to National Pipe Thread (NPT). Garden hose thread is coarse even thread that is found on most garden hoses, sprinklers, watering guns, breakers, hose end nozzles and household spigots or Sediment Faucets. (Sometimes they are simply called water taps.) National pipe thread is a finer, tapered thread. It is commonly found on pipe, spray guns, pressure wash guns and lances, and ball valves. Unless there is an F in front of the NPT it is presumed to be male.

FGHT = female garden hose thread.

NPT = national pipe thread - Male.
