The 115V AC electric motor featured on this bypass diaphragm pump is a permanent magnet, continuous duty motor with thermal overload protection.

The bypass mode featured on this pump utilizes an internal bypass valve that is useful in applications where frequent stopping and starting of the motor is required. Bypass pumps operate at higher pressures while at lower flow rates. They operate even though the discharge side has been stopped, continuing to run until the power is turned off.
