Product Description
The Portable Winch PCW4000 is a lightweight and very powerful capstan winch capable of delivering a maximum pulling force of 2200 lb. It is very safe and easy to operate, making it the ideal winch of choice for all types of pulling jobs, including pulling logs, pulling game, pulling boats, pulling docks, getting vehicles stuck out of the mud, directional felling, and many other projects.
Equipped with its quick release anti-rollback mechanism (ARM), which is a new feature that provides perfect control over the movement of the load, the PCW4000 Portable Winch can be used with minimum 3/8" and maximum 1/2" diameter double-braided polyester ropes in applications including hunting, forestry, industrial, off road, garden and cottage, and much more. Once you pull the rope that goes through the ARM, a centrifugal clutch will activate and cause the winch to pull. Once the rope is released, the capstan drum will stop rotating and the ARM will hold the load perfectly in position. A lateral movement is all that is required to disengage the rope from the mechanism.
With its standard 76 mm capstan drum, the PCW4000 Portable Winch can pull 2200 lb on a single line without mechanical advantage and 4400 lb. when doubling the line. If you add a pulley system, you can increase the pulling force by up to 5 times.
A reliable Honda GX50 4-stroke 2.0 HP gasoline engine supplies power to the winch. The engine provides high output and is 360° inclinable during operating and in storage.
