Hypro 9910-KIT1640 Gearbox to couple the D30 or AR30 pumps and 5.5 hp gas engines with a 3/4" keyed shaft (19 mm). This gearbox is found on many lawn spray systems manufactured by Rittenhouse.

Use this Gearbox with 90 weight gear oil found in many hardware and automotive stores. Be careful not to put too much oil in the gearbox. The dipstick for the gearbox has a ridge near the bottom of the stick, do not fill past the ridge. The o-ring is already installed in the gear box, feel inside the ridge.

This is a 6-to-1 gear reduction for attaching to a Honda or Briggs gas engine.

Note: The Hypro 9910-KIT1640 gearbox is also compatible with the Hypro D50, D503, and D813 diaphragm pump models but it is mandatory that the pumps are operated at lower pressures that do not exceed the 5 hp gas engine compatibility.
