All carburetors are failing more than ever with the increasing use of ethanol fuels because they cannot handle the higher alcohol content effectively.
NOTE: Do not use these OEM replacement carburetors with greater than 10% ethanol fuel.

HANDY HINT - PROBLEM: Engine starts easily, but dies after a few seconds
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1 - Fuel tank is empty or shut-off valve is closed, or fuel line or fuel tank cap vent is clogged
2 - Carburetor is overchoked
3 - Carburetor is improperly adjusted or needs service
