189 Litre (50 US Gallon) Electric Powered De-Icing Applicator

This 189 Litre (50 US Gallon) Electric Powered De-Icing Sprayer (# ICE-50D) uses a compact, skid-mounted design so it can fit perfectly in the back of your short box or full-sized pickup truck, enabling you to perform a wide range of spraying applications year round.

The 189 L capacity tank, which sits comfortably on a 19" x 27" (48 cm x 69 cm) black powder coated steel frame, is made with polyethylene material to withstand the harsh outdoor conditions all season long. It is ideal for spraying liquid de-icing and anti-icing materials, as well as salt brine, on walkways, pathways, driveways, parking lots, roads, etc. during the cold winter months. When warmer temperatures approach, this sprayer can be used for various watering, dust control, and small firefighting applications. A true all season applicator.

Other key items included on this spraying unit is a Shurflo 12VDC Demand Diaphragm Pump capable of handling maximum flow rates up to 5.3 gpm (20 lpm) and pressures up to 60 psi (4.1 bar), a GB Style Red Hose Reel equipped with 100' x 1/2" (30 m x 13 mm) Green Tinted Spray Hose, and a black powder coated steel spray boom measuring 46" (117 cm) long. The spray boom covers a 46" (117 cm) spray width with its 4 x TeeJet non-drip hose shank nozzle bodies and TP0008 Straight Stream Brass Nozzles, and mounts into standard 2" (50 mm) trailer hitches.

The compact size of this de-icing unit makes it an excellent option for ice control in areas where larger sprayers cannot be utilized due to their large size, such as around shopping malls, office buildings, industrial plazas, hospitals, schools, and many other areas where foot traffic and a danger of slipping and falling is high.
